A virtual tour in the time of coronavirus.
With the world under quarantine, and world travel at a standstill, it is difficult to appreciate the beauty of urban environments from within the confines of our homes and communities. This project aims to help students and urban enthusiasts explore the art of tall buildings and share an appreciation for great building design. Buildings reflect trends in the economy and culture, as well as our technological advancements and changing social values. As an interactive timeline, I hope it shows us where we come from and where we are going - and how to elevate the conversation about urban environments. How we think of architecture today determines how we live tomorrow.
